The Tri-Institutional Consulting Club (TICC) is the consulting club for advanced degree students and post-doctoral researchers of three biomedical research institutions—Weill Cornell Medicine, Memorial Sloan Kettering, and Rockefeller University—informally referred to as the Tri-I.
The TICC aims to provide support to our 500+ members in their transition from academic scientists to management consultants through coaching, community, and mentorship.

- Look out for our recruitment events during the summer, where we invite consulting companies to break down their job and internship application process for you! Also join our Alumni panels, where recent Tri-I graduates talk about the daily life of a consultant, their company and how they mastered the recruitment process.
- Get started preparing for your case and fit interviews with the help of our career workshops (Business resume and fit interview prep) in collaboration with the Weill Cornell Career Office.
- Hone your casing skills by attending our bi-weekly 1-1 casing practice sessions and monthly case-walkthrough sessions, where we or an consultant alumni will solve a case in a beginner friendly group setting.
- Take advantage of our comprehensive resource library including >150 case book pdfs, casing guides, live casing videos, discount codes for consulting preparation websites and 30+ hard copy books on consulting, case prep, corporate strategy and more you can rent for free.
- Sign up for our newsletter and our slack channel to become a member and stay informed about all consulting events in the Tri-I, internship opportunities in NYC, and major application deadlines in the current application cycle.

The Neurosurgery Interest Group is part of the Weill Cornell student chapter of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. The organization seeks to educate students at Weill Cornell about the field of neurosurgery and create opportunities for students to explore their interests in the field. The ALCSI (American Lung Cancer Screening Initiative) Chapter at Weill Cornell Medical College is a public health-focused student organization that educates students and communities about lung cancer screening through outreach events and peer-to-peer engagement. In partnership with a national network of student leaders and faculty, Weill Cornell’s ALCSI chapter trains students to serve as ambassadors and promote early lung cancer detection through ALCSI’s “Plus One Campaign,” especially in underserved populations. Birdwatching Club seeks to foster an appreciation of wildlife in our back yard: Central Park and other local settings. Our mission is to inspire curiosity and cultivate a sense of wonder among our members in the diverse bird species that exist within our own surroundings.

We lead birdwatching tours during fall and spring migrations that can be appreciated by first-timers and experienced birdwatchers alike. Club-owned binoculars will be available to club members on birdwatching tours. We hope to build an inclusive and welcoming community through regular group outings and excursions where everyone can learn, share, and grow together as we appreciate nature.

The goal of the Weill Cornell book club is to create a community around individuals that like to read. We aim to connect students together who may not have the opportunity to meet otherwise, and provide a space for conversation. Additionally, we want to give students the opportunity to read something other than scientific papers, to give ourselves a much needed break from lab and the rigors of graduate school and relax. Many students tell us that they’ve been meaning to read more, and so our mission is to motivate these students to do so. Lastly, in recent years we have expanded our mission to also include hosting events that are not just a more traditional book discussion, such as our book swap, which is a more social even that includes donations to the local library.

Camp Phoenix is a student-run group founded in 2000 to provide a free, safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children (ages 7-12) who have been discharged from the burn unit of the hospital. Our goal is to provide a setting for children who have survived burn injuries to experience activities that every child rightfully deserves but might not be accessible due to their environment.

Welcome to the Code Black and Latinx Overcoming Obstacles in Medicine (BLOOM) Mentorship Program, developed by medical students at Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) with the support of the Diversity Center of Excellence (DCOE). This longitudinal program is designed for underrepresented undergraduate students attending CUNY colleges interested in pursuing a career in medicine. Our mission is to equip undergraduate students with the resources to learn about health equity and disparities in medicine, get early exposure to practical medical skills, and receive individualized mentorship from WCM medical students. Most importantly, we want to incite a passion for medicine and hope to inspire a new generation of doctors.

This program will be offered to undergraduate students from CUNY colleges who underwent an application and interview process and were selected to participate in Code BLOOM. Each year will consist of a curriculum curated for students in a specific point of their undergraduate training.

The structure of the program is as follows:

Mentorship

Pairing with a WCM MS1-MS3 or PA mentor

Bimonthly mentor-mentee meetings to formally discuss topics related to medical and graduate school preparation and training

“Cafecitos” consisting of informal meetings with Code BLOOM mentors and mentees

Didactics

Bimonthly health care disparities speaker series

Skills workshops

Partnership with the Emergency Medicine Interest Group (EMIG) and the WCM/NYP Simulation Center to get exposure to and practice medical techniques such as venipuncture, suturing, CPR, and more.

Community Outreach Events

Partership with Heart to Heart, a student-run mobile clinic aimed at providing cardiovascular health screenings to underserved populations across New York City.

Mentees are expected to participate in a minimum of 3 Heart-2-Heart events across the calendar year.

Capstone Requirement

Students will choose a topic of interest related to healthcare disparities to work on with their mentor. At the end of the program, students will present their project to the cohort.
